Abuja - A popular musician has passed away this week after being bitten by a snake during a live performance last week Sunday.
According to a report by the Telegraph, Irma Bule, an Indonesian pop star, was bitten on her thigh during a performance in Karawang, West Java.
"The accident happened in the middle of the second song when Irma stepped on the snake's tail," an audience member said.
Reports have indicated that the snake was thought to have been defanged, with Bule having performed for minutes after the bite until she collapsed on stage.
The singer is well-known for using snakes during her performances, with Bule having used boa constrictors and pythons in previous stage appearances.
In investigation into the matter is currently underway.
