Woman sets fire to wrong car in revenge plot against ex

06 September 2016, 14:04

Abuja - An irate woman has landed herself behind bars after she accidentally set fire to the wrong car in a revenge plot focused on her ex lover.

According to the UK Metro, Carmen Chamblee was arrested over the weekend and charged with second-degree arson after she allegedly set a rage alight and placed in the petrol tank of a white Honda.

To her dismay, however, the owner of the vehicle came rushing out of a nearby property carrying a bucket of water in the hopes that he would be able to save his car.

After her arrest Chamblee revealed that she had initially thought that the car belonged to her ex and she therefore set it alight in order to seek revenge on him.

Chamblee is set to appear in court on Sunday morning.
